Help – How To Set Up a Smart Tag
Congratulations on getting your Aurora Smart Tag.
But what now?
Aurora Smart Tags come with brief instructions on how to quickly set them up, but there’s far more to them than that!
This page contains instructions on how to register a tag. Once a tag is registered, any (NFC enabled) Smartphone can then scan the tag to bring up the owner’s Smart Tag message

How to Register a New Tag
Although the PDF provides more detailed instructions for registering your tags, linking a tag to your account takes just 3 easy steps:
1. Scan the tag with your smartphone
a) If you have purchased an NFC Smart Tag, put tag into contact with NFC scanner on your phone (Please look up your phone settings to make sure NFC is on, & how to use it)
b) If you have purchased a QR Smart Tag, scan using a QR reader app on your phone.

2 Either: a) Sign In (If you already have an account)
OR b) Sign-up (Register a new account If you don’t yet)
Use the blue button – “Not got an account? Sign Up / Register”. This will guide you through the quick and easy process to create your free account. You will need to verify your email.
You will continue to the “Add a Device” screen, & Remember to Sign-in when prompted. Alternatively, please rescan your tag if necessary to restart the process

Optional Step – Give your tag a name. This is useful if you have many tags

3. Click “Add” to register the tag on your account

Optional Step – Visit the tags settings, & make any changes you wish, such as personalise your message, or set up alerts
